Decent pubs near Portishead marina?

There is a pub overlooking the Channel which is a few minutes walk. I think it is called the Royal Oak or something similar. Just walk past the lock with the arroach channel on your right. follow the seawall and go up the steps, the pub is right there. The beer has always been good and the food OK too.

Which night are you going to be there Sam? I could be forced under duress to accompany you just to make sure you don't get lost :-)

There are a couple of others in town but the Royal is the only one i've stayed for more than one pint in.
 
Within a short walk is the Royal - directions as per Allan said. Decent beer and food is pretty good for a pub.
The Windmill is a little bit more of a walk (you would have seen in up on the hill just before you got to Battery Point), Beer very good, food OK but not as good as the Royal.
Then there is Jacks, located at the far end of the marina next to Botelino's - food OK in both but not really pubs.
All other pubs in town not worth walking to IMHO

Lockhouse Restaurant opposite the Marina control building serves good food but prices reflect that as well.
