Deben 4 Tonner Cutter information wanted

We are looking for any information (particularly photographs and drawings) refering to the 26ft Gaff Rigged Cutter Alexandra built by Whisstocks of Woodbridge in the 1930s. It will help us restore her to as near original condition as possible.

I presume you mean a cutter. They came in two options as far as I know: Coachroof and raised topsides, both being designed by William Maxwell Blake.

What was I thinking of? Yes of course, Cutter. Alexandra has a coach roof.

Deben 4 tonners are around 22ft on the decks so I presume the 26ft is including bowsprit. I have copies of plans etc, PM me for more information.

Thanks. Interesting...she is 33ft including bowsprit so maybe my initial information is incorrect. Any advice would be most welcome.

If she is 26ft on deck, 33ft with the bowsprit, she is not a Deben Four Tonner.

The Deben Six Tonner was designed by Claud after WW2 (W.M. Blake died in 1939).

Blake designed the Mrs Ranzo class but they were built by Robertsons.
