Death in the Yealm

It's been reported that a sailor died 2 days ago in the mouth of the Yealm. I've seen nothing about what happened apart from the fact he came from Exeter, which is where I live.
Does anyone have any further details?

If I recall the BBC News report correctly a man in his 40s went overboard from a yacht and was airlifted to Derriford Hospital where he died or was pronounced dead.
