Please have a /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif on me, you are really going through the grinder this season, I feel for you mate.

I thought I was having a bad time, but seeing the problems you are facing, mine are cosmetic in comparison.

May I wish you luck in getting her ready before the sun goes away again.

here, have another /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Pete,

Don't tell me you're still stuck in that wretched FF canal? I'm about 4 boats down from you (not seen the blue lady for about 3 months now), nothing that wrong, just other things to do and a bit of a shitter since you can only leave on 7 days of the year. That cheap winter mooring is getting expensive.

Maybe this month, when the real sailors are having their party around Angelsey (where we should be too) we can have our own gathering in the Ferry tavern? At least the beer will be better and we don't have to worry about dragging!

Nick

No, my present woes are taking place at Conwy.
We sailed out with never less than 1.5 m below our keel. If the journey down is split into 2 and you can recce and then follow the exact deepest route then I think there are plenty of tidal opportunities to get out.
Good luck
Peter.
