Then yes, that post is flypapered to the top of the screen for a couple of days.

I don't have an issue with fun but teetering along the tightrope of striking a balance for all users is never easy and things had started to wobble a little bit off, as happens from time to time. In particular we do have a rule about language used and simply placing an asterisk in the middle of words hardly disguises it.

My post doesn't say no humour; for goodness sake don't stop having a laff! It does request discretion regarding what is posted. As an MP discovered to her cost last week what some might deem funny in their own environments often doesn't translate in the public domain. Whether you like it or not it's us that has to pick up the pieces and also the board that suffers generally if it persuades people to join in and use it.

Theres nothing very strict here normally. Just the aftermath of world war three. But never mind, the goodies always win!!

I do have it on very good authority that /forums/images/icons/smile.gifcrappy/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif is quite OK though!
