Dear Jake, I claim my prize for spotting the deliberate mistake in the current edition of MBM which I obtained today. The 3rd page of the Waterline 30 review shows a picture which is referred to as the Aft Cabin... is in reality the Fore Cabin.
I believe the prize is a new Broom 50. Can I have instead the Broom 42 plus the cash difference as the 50 cannot get past Windsor bridge.

The mistake I spotted is much more important than Byron's, so I claim 1st prize.

letter from Navigators and General. (What a load of C**p).
Extending davit arm only stabilises the dinghy, does not alter distance of dinghy from transom. The lifting pulley remains in the same place wherever your extension is.

Confirms to me that insurers know precious little about boats.

Sorry Mike, that article clearly states that the weight should be as far in to the stern as possible. If you look carefully at the photo the stress is being taken by the extension.... so I still claim my prize /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
