I would appreciate any help withn this one - starboard leg on a targa 34 (KAD 300s) refused to trim today, nothing happening at all, no sound of pump or anything like that. Boat out of water at present. Could it be electrical?, fuse? any help appreciated

There's a 55A fuse above the starter motor (looks like a white plastic block with a couple of terminals on).
Also, two relay blocks usually near the trim pump.

Probably too late by now but I would go for the relays on the pump. Remove one at a time, clean the spade terminals, spray sockets with WD40 type spray and refit relay, then repeat on the other relay. This usually sorts out the problem, if not as already mentioned onto the fuse. Some pumps use a spade type fuse (55A?) and some the big white thing, as already mentioned.
Don't forget there are also 2 more relays in the circuit that are probably situated near to the trim gauges, if cleaning the 2 on the pump doesn't work (usually does) have a go with these, same as above.

I had a problem with one of my legs which would intermittently work. It would work when we first started the boat then stop after about 20 mins, 20 mins after turning the engine off it would work again.
I swapped over ever contact, switch and relay I could find but still the problem persisted.

I explained the problem to a wise old friend who it turns out has had the same problem in the past. He suggested replacing the 'big' fuse which sits on top of the engine next to the black box of electrics (kad43's).
hey presto problem sorted.

It turns out that when the fuse got hot and it does cause it sits on top of the engine, it broke down. So if your problem is intermittent I suggest you look there. a replacement was £8 from keypart.
