De-humidifier appears to have a mind of its own. Set to 'continuous operation' and running all ok when leave the boat but on return (7-10 day periods at present) it has switched itself off. It is fitted with a continuous drain system not a holding tank and a frost/ice protector. The only idea that I can come up with is if the shore power supply is interupted this would cause the unit to close down. Grateful for any other ideas that might cause the problem. Thanks

actually if its like mine continous operation means just that, so it shouldn't switch off, so you may still have a problem. This is not a good setting for when you are away for a while - best to use normal or whatever so it does switch off when correct humidity reached.

Mine is also sensitive to the level when on continuous drain.
Placed sloping ever so slightly the wrong way a sensor detects and switches the unit off - a red full tank light come on.

IF the tank is full put to magazines under the front edge the it should drain, thats what some one told me and it worked !
