Having serviced some seacocks, there is some grease/oil running down the hull... which I am going to antifoul tomorrow or Friday /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

What can I use to get the oil off? I was thinking acetone, (SWMBO nail varnish removing stuff), but I dont really know.

Many Thanks

Richard

Strong solution of washing up liquid. Then, when dry, a wipe down with turps or anti-fouling thinners.

[/ QUOTE ]That's what I do. Nice and hot -- use Marigolds.

I agree with you, then some oxalic acid to whiten, then some nice wax, will she end up as pretty as mine?
