Day skipper theory evening classes this winter?

Hello,

A friend is looking for day skipper theory evening classes this winter rather than on line or an intensive course.
Sailing and motor boat clubs used to run these for members and locals, but it is many years since I did mine and I wondered if anyone can suggest one in Norfolk or Suffolk?

You could try the Royal Harwich YC. We do a variety of RYA training courses both ashore and afloat. I don't know specifically if they will be doing the day skipper classes this winter, nor the timing of them, but it is worth calling. Tel 01473 780319.

These courses used to be run at night school literally everywhere, some clubs ran them but they need someone who can teach it and the club has to have an RYA approved principal.

It is virtually all done online now to go at students pace which has its benefits, but you do loose that classroom experience of combined knowledge and anecdotes over a cup of coffee

I have done several courses at East Anglian Sea School at Suffolk Yacht Harbour Categories | Shop always found them enjoyable and informative.
