day sailing around Solent

Hi I have just done my first days racing at Cowes Week. Previously I have done a weeks bare boating, 3 days day sailing around Solent and my Competent Crew course. Looking for a cruising yacht to get competent, more experience and have some fun learning how to sail. Liked the racing but need to know how a boat works! Can you help me out? Fit, active, mature adult and female. Port Solent, Chichester, Southampton areas would be good.

Hi Newgirl,
I may be looking for some crew from time to time, my partner is a reluctant and very fair weather sailor, so as a result I am not getting out on the boat enough, so was thinking of putting a crew together to open up some options.

Boat is based in Gosport marina, a Benteau 343, couple of years old, very light use, I have been sailing for 4 years or so, learning all the time, done a few cross channels etc.

What sort of availability do you have, weekends or weekdays?

i saw your response to newgirl and the link you posted no longer exsists, do you know of any other sites? like newgirl i would like to get more experience under my belt as i plan to take my day skippers & yatch masters, i've been crewing for sailfree for sometime now but unfortunately not as often as i'd like.
