Removed old autopilot control box (Cetrek)

Fabricated new rudder stop plate (We carry an inverter arc welder on board for stainless etc)

New Raymarine autopilot going in tomorrow.. then rebuild the port interior / convert to seating..
Make new main electrical cupboard and rewire.. move calorifier.. fit new exhaust waterlock, new instruments and plotter, new ssb antenna and atu.. new quick release main steering wheel... fit new schenker 60lph watermaker unit.. convert centre cabin from single to double.. build new chain locker and glass in old deck opening hatches for old chain locker.. move windlass to deck area.. fit new instrument panel for engine in cockpit.. modify pushpit to allow larger winch handles.. fit new interior trim to pilot house.. fit new diesel filter systems and vac gauge..

Just a small refit lol... another couple of weeks should see it done..

Hiya Damo
it is ONE of the things I value most in the spares kit. The inverter arc welder (Colt 105) was around 250 euros, you can pick it up with one finger, seriously.. welded the rudder stop plate from 8mm Galvanzied steel base, uprights and reinforcing plates were 304 stainless 6mm plate.. no problem, built dinghy davits out of 316 stainless tube n bar also.

Just a matter of getting the right rods.. we have a good stock of 316 2.5 and 1.6 rods.. also normal mild steel, but you can use 316 rods on mild steel no worries. not the prettiest weld, (More down to MY ability lol)..

Another great addition was 1mm cutting discs for the grinder .. designed for stainless, superb. Hot knife through butter.

Not something I would cruise without, after having it, it STAYS...

Joe.
