Does anyone have dinghy davits on a canoe stern yacht mines a Degero28 a Finnish motor sailer , very comfortable and warm I have always used a old avon redstart but I also have a hard dinghy with sails which would much more fun. But don't want to go down the road of getting them if it's rubbish, ie blocking rear view.

Davits are really incompatible with boats under about 33' and with a beam at the stern of less than 9' - even more so if the stern is not a large flat transom. My 31'GH had them fitted when I bought it and as you can see they are out of proportion and even worse when the 2.6m dinghy was hauled up. Now removed and for sale if you do fancy giving them a go!
