His website always provided a view of the boating world from a man who wore a pair of overalls rather than somebody in a suit about to present you with a glossy sales brouchure or video of the very latest MDL berthing wheeze.

Sad, we bought his book and it is good reading. Perhaps his views are a little out of date but he certainly schooled us on how to look past the flash to the substance of boats
