Piicies to follow from Kawasaki - he motored round from Port Dinorwic to Porthmadog which is about 70nm. Not bad for a trial "shake-down"!! Briza performed well in less that favourable conditions. Did you hear me met office? Large seas and high easterlies.

Nonetheless we are here in MYC having had a great meal and loads of wine.

Kawaski will complete the story with pics later on Sunday. Please wish him fair winds and reliable machinery for the trip home.

Just tell me that you didnt try and keep up with Mr S in the wine drinking stakes /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif - if you did then you are likely to encounter sea dragons, pirates and other unexplained phenomena on the way back through Bardsey /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Sorry that I didnt get chance to meet you yesterday, I was in Porthmadog briefly but overburdened with family duties.

You certainly picked a nice day for it and I hope that you get a great run back.

regards,
Alan

Your a wicked, wicked man Mr Snelson.... lambs to the slaughter in the MYC bar.

Kawasaki - as you swigged back on your umpteenth glass of red, did you not notice that shiny shilling in the bottom of the glass??

Ah well, forget the weather forecast - after a full Saturday night at MYC with Mr S, Thursday sounds like a very sensible day to be heading back /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Oh No!
Not the Shilling.
Tiss a wicked Ruse.
Think I will try to leave in the Dark.
Pay 2000 shillings for a Pilot to exit that "Wicked Creek."
Back to the Northen side.
Tiss a sainer more Normal anchorage.
Tiss true, I saw a Mermaid there.
A Mate of mine saw one once as well.
He reckoned He F%cked Her!
"Owe did yer do that then" ?
I asked.
"Well We talked a bit on the approach to Portmadoc"
As yer do.
Then the Tide went out rapidly, as it does.
"Then She was F%cked"!
I said.
"What did She look like then"?
He said, "Gorgeous, 44/ 26/ + £6 a pound!
