the plotter shows all sorts of options to display engine stats and has nmea 2000 working with the depth and audio

been checking the wires behind the dash, there is a bunch of spaded connectors with lables showing engine data, e.g. temp etc
so what interface do i need to connect to the spaded wires to my plotter, assuming they are actually connnected to the OB
or does it need an nmea cable from honda to the plotter ??

then yes i also want the depth to the ipad

tnx

Only some Honda engines output NMEA 2000 engine data, and they will need the right adapter..

Engine temp on a label could just be a simple voltage varying on temperature.

Perhaps the Gamin website will clear up if your engine has NMEA 2000 output suitable for display on the Garmin MFD, otherwise you'll need to check engine serial number with Honda.
