Nearly all the gauges on my dash have at some time fallen through the hole into the abys that lies beneath the dashboard!

Anyone know where I can het hold of some replacement besels, preferably metal as the plastic ones I have are all britle and broken.

Have tried Halfords and the local "Pimp my Ride" shop with no sucess!

What sort of instruments,

Hi Sneddon,
What sort of instrument bezels do you need? Are they the chrome rings that go with the EVC instruments? If so I may have a couple of new one lying around.

They are the "bayonet" type on VP/VDO gauges circa 2001

Have thought of a total dash re-build, but that works out a bit pricey!

Thanks to all for the input, off to my VP dealer tomorrow to see what he sugests.

I would like to change the dash but is is not flat, it is a convex "bent" piece of mock carbon fibre.

have you contacted mustang? When I had gauge problems I contacted sea ray and they sorted me out ok.

Sneds,

Here is a picture of my re-made dash with the KAD series VDO instruments housed in the later D series collars. The only ones you cant get from VP are for the Tachos as the later D series tachos are bigger in diameter than the KAD series.

Also available in chrome, but since I could only get black for the tachos i opted for black on the others too.
