Has anyone fitted a Dash Cam to their boat? At only £16 - £20 for a cheapo they work splendidly. I just bought one for the car. Of course being a Klutz I immediately busted the mount but I had it on test anyway and was pleasantly surprised with the results. I've ordered a new mount for £3 off Ebay.
There's an excellent Blog here on installing the same one as I have here http://users.tpg.com.au/agnet/cam1.html
I would like one on my launch but I don't have a fag lighter to plug it into.

I paid £16 on Ebay. If you do order make sure you are ordering of a UK retailer. Chinese take weeks to deliver. You will also need a Class 2 SD card of at least 4GB which will give about an hour recording time before it starts recording over earlier taken movie.

The posher ones have two cameras recoredin forward and back plus infra red and record your progress on a Google maps layout whem replaying.
Get as big a SD card as your camera will take.
Some of them will have trouble with a 32Gb,however.
You can alter video quality in supplied software which will allow more time per card.
