had an excellent meal the other week at Jan and Freddie's Brasserie. Also ate at the Cherub which we thought was OK but wouldn't rush back there.

We ate at Kendricks when we visited earlier in August and had a very good meal and friendly service, if fact so good we went back the next night !!!

Had a lovely meal in RBs near the little car ferry a couple of weeks ago. A little pricey and with not nearly as much character as its predecessor but still worth a visit.

Re: Cafe Cache

I can most certainly second that. Good food, friendly staff and unhurried.

I have also had a good, though far more expensive, meal in Taylors, which overlooks the boat pool.

The food in the Cherub pub was not bad, but appeared tp rely heavily on the use of microwave ovens.

Ate there last year, it was also excellent then.

The Cherub is still a great pub, but have never been particularly struck by the menu.

Cherub is great if you don't mind inhaling as much secondary smoke as the food you eat...

Also Taylors have twice given me short shrift on a) slow service and b) -on another visit- undercooked fish and arguing with me about it. Both are off my list of Dartmouth eateries.

Yes it used to be his place and they still make great play of that in their adverts. Didn't see him or any roped off areas though. Isn't Bow Creek "interesting" at first light with a hangover?

I took Englander up bow creek, at high tide, 57' was interesting turning her around!! But have eaten there, good food, had fun!

Kendricks.. We ate there erlier this year (may) food was good as was the service. Its located just near Somerfield I recon it is probably directly behind the New Angel
