I have just received highly confidential information that it will aweful in Dartmouth at the w.end, and all visitors should abandon their berths, leaving plenty of vacancies.
Obviously, i will avoid the place at all costs, but should I get washed in by the tide, what are the places to eat? Cant recall quite what got burned down...

Should you get washed in by the tide and get one of the extremely rare visitors slots, the "floating bridge pub" is always quite good IMO. Right next to the higher ferry, Dartmouth side.

Darthaven told me that doesnt start til next Wednesday?

True, but people arrive from the weekend to get their spot.

Probably OK at beginning of week but probably still worth booking.

I berth in Darthaven so may see you around.

If the tide sweeps you up to Dittisham, pick up a visitors buoy and head to the Ferry Boat Inn for a drink before ordering fresh seafood from the Anchorstone cafe opposite.

Sorry I meant book restuarants.

Seafood - Seahorse
Fish & Chips - Rockfish
Browns
Angelique -Expensive and not as good as Seahorse IMHO
Dartmouth Apprentice

Pubs
Cherub
Ship in Kingswear

Plenty of others to choose from.

No,

It went bust!!

I think John Burton-Race prefers being a TV "celebrity"?

It is now called Angelique.

You could try Sails restaurant above the sailing club. Its new and so the prices are not to bad. I doubt it will last 2 seasons though, good chef (lady) but front of house (husband) should not be doing the job!

Correct me if I'm wrong but hasn't Sails been there for years?
