Moving my boat to Dartmouth and am looking for recommendations for a marine engineer. Ideally would like a independent multi skilled engineer or a small old school boat yard who can help with a number of snag list items. Not too keen on big marine businesses, too many bad experience.

Examples of work are linking ais to chart plotter, water heater tripping breakers when on shore power, investigate if electric windlass can be put back into operation ect.

Personal recommendations are always best so any help would be welcome.

I have used Rob & Andy, to very good effect on engine work. It does seem your issues might come under heading 'electrical' in which case I would suggest Nick Broomfield of Devon Marine Electronics (again a very satisfactory experience and a lovely bloke)
