Dartmouth Embankment Public Crane?

There's a crane on the embankment near Dartmouth Yacht Club that I seem to recall is available for public use.

I have a Fischer Panda 4.2kW generator aboard I'm thinking of Ebaying off - but it weighs over 100kg I believe.

Does anyone know if you need to book a slot to use the crane, or?

I don't know. but the Harbour Masters office is only a few yards away and they should be able to let you know. I've only seen it used to off-load barrels of crabs but, IIRC, you need to supply your own block and tackle.
