Hi all

I'm going to upgrade the mechanical thermostat on my fridge and freezer with an inkbird itc 1000f digital.

Currently the thermostat brown wire is connected to the C port on the compressor cuircuitboard and the blue to the port numbered 32

On the inkbird there are two port for cooling numbered 7 and 8.
If I keep the same wire does anyone know how the brown and blue connect on the inkbird?

Many thanks in advance!

Assuming this is simply a switch it likely won't matter. Any wiring diagrams for the compressor and / or switch ?

For any thermostat having a small deadband i.e. small difference between cut in and cut out temperatures is essential, otherwise you can reach a specific point when it will rapidly switch from on to off cycling and compressor motors definitely do not like this. So for a fridge Stat - On at say 4oC and off at 2oC.

Thanks, I can't seem to post photos from my phone and I don't have a computer at the moment as it lost an argument with a cup of tea. Will connect them up to the thermostat and just see what works......
