Hello boating people

My propeller in my newly boat vessel has corroded entirely - chips come off by the touch of a fnger (lack of proper anodes/maintenance).

I can of course replace with same size/pitch, but maybe that is not optimum. So... does anyone here know what a 1974 Mitchell mi1, born (and still running) with a Perkins 6354m/115 hp wa equipped with originally? Gear is Borg Warner.

Also, does anyone know of a Mitchell boat owner community -/on the interwebs...

Thanks for any tips, greeting from the mainland,

viggo

I would need to look at my log book. I did some reasonable calculations at the end of last season. As I said I need to check I think it was a little over 2 gallons an hour. Usually I cruise at 2K revs. Mk1 with aft cabin with the central area built up to provide a fully enclosed wheelhouse. I will check my log book when I go afloat next.
