Plas Rhianfa has been sold and at the knock down price of £2m (reduced fro 3.5, so quite a bargain). One of my fave properties along the Straits, a real Victorian Gothic fantasy.

So it goes, pity my offer of 1.8m wasn't quite enough. I'll just have to stuff it all back under the mattress.

The Rumours on the Street are
A 'Big Consortium' has bought it
Lots of rumours about a Total Refit and even some chewing in of the rocks fer a 'Harbour'
Tother one is
Sir Alex Ferguson has bought it fer development.
Then there are other rumours ref said 'Sir' that He has shown interest in other waterside properties about the Place
It's all appenin here at the Mo!

Searush, I purchased it for a lot less than £2 million and I am fully prepared to accept your offer of £1.8 million.

I like a quick profit.

PM me and I will give you my bank details so you can transfer the funds.

Someone sold a white heffelulmp on to another who imagined that planning permission would be granted.

On the other hand Anglesey is well known for the planing dept acting a sconsultant for developers with the added attraction of having objections ' gone missing'

No probs. Just post the details & pin number here & I will take the necessary actions immediately. But it may take a little time as I am due to go to Lagos on a business trip shortly.

Ahhhhh, so it's you behind all the scams and dodgey letters.

Lovely location and building so can understand your feelings towards it

Shame to have gone to all that effort of counting it for nothing, perhaps you could treat yourself to a nice posh Mobo instead...? :D:D:D:D

It has been bought by the firm
Amazing Retreats
Rumour on the Strait today
Is that Will an Kate have also purchased a des res herabouts too.
Not confirmed yet
Me ferrets are stil ferretin!

The French are so much better at that sort of thing, but that one is a beaut, Searush.

Built by the request of Sir John Hay Williams,.
From Limestone from Penmon quarry (the wreck of one of the quarries ships is still in the Strait) as a 'Dower' house.
Probably for solace for His Wife or Daughter
The 19th Century saw Beaumaris as a rising Port and fashionable tourist destination
Twas a kinda French Riviera of the UK:cool:

It has been bought by a certain pub chain and will become a Witherspoon's public house, to be named "Sir John Hay Williams"
