Having not seen properly the damage to my boat I thought I would post some pics.

The boat moored next to me on that side was a Ferro boat that survived, The boat behind me was a GRP Cat that is now on the sand bank being repaired below the waterline and all the interior replaced due to water damage.

That does not look good, I'm afraid. What happened?
I hope they will be able to repair you boat and the insurance does not try to wriggle out of it.

I think it underlines the strength of steel over fibreglass, if anyone needed to know.

Roger - she still looks a looks a lovely a seaworthy yacht and I'm sure you will have her back to her pristine best. You have put considerable effort into her development, and some examples of your work have been on display in other threads. I hope you can post a more pleasant update in the future. I also you hope you can post more features - you have been an example to us all - lots of imagination and hard work.

The picture of the container ship says it all.
