Hi.

I've noticed a bit of light damage on one of our camper cover windows; a deep scratch and a small hole about 1-2mm in size. They're really quite small, but noticeable.

Short of having the panel re-made, can anyone suggest a patch product that could be adhered to the plastic? (not Sellotape!!!)

Cheers,

David.

You will not go far wrong with wicks all weather tape.

Use a patch inside and one outside and try to place them on top of one another, should last 2-3 years and easily replaceable.

Or just on the off-chance that you have some lying around on the boat, I've used Mylar sail repair tape with great effect on portlights and hatches with cracks to effect temporary repairs (one of which lasted a year and a half looking no worse that when it went on). Much better than sellotape.
