Ok we all dread these going wrong, so do you check them or replace , and has anyone purchased them.
Are you still in Torquay , as my feet got wet today out on the boat , but it was isssing down.You know it defo needs changing when your feet get wet on the flybridge

The shaft drive version sometimes have a cast black elbow which corrodes away , I’d guess you have stainless hi rise elbow which last many years .
