As promised, impressions after having used in anger (only 17 hours)
Cruising spares kit price can't be for a Volvo, far too cheap.
Torque curve is lovely, nice consistant surge to planing and holds nicely at low end of planing speed. Goes quicker than (boat) manufactures quoted numbers.
Lack of noise & vibration is well above expectations
Economy seems very frugal,
Small & easy to get round, but I guess that's an installation thing as well.
Don't like the lag for gear engagement & throttle response caused by Function by Wire, but I suppose I'll get used to that after a year or two.
Smokes like a train which considering Volvo's claims for the new common rail is a bit off, Volvo chap looking at that on Friday so more after that.
