I've been vexed by a very small leak of coolant, that after long chugs, has required me to top up the header tank on the engine. Looking under the engine, that I keep completely and meticulously clean, I could see no trace of coolant.

Doing my post passage engine checks on arriving to Belgium after a long chugs, I noticed a tiny green splodge under the circulation pump. Poking my head under the pump, I could see, just like the raw water pump, there is a weep hole to tell you when the pump seals need to be replaced. This had clearly been evaporating before dripping for the most part.

Can you rebuild these like I did with our raw water pump here (https://forums.ybw.com/threads/vp-d2-55-raw-water-pump-refurb-or-replace.601222/)? Or best to replace with one of these https://parts4engines.com/products/...rN9Yy9lyiWypSHMNFdaVO2wwhHCbwTH8htUSw-hI-1H6? It does seem a bit on the cheap side... but then Parts4Engines have certainly never let me down.

It’s certainly possible to rebuild.
When it comes to engineering I’m totally clueless but when mine leaked in a similar way a friend pulled it apart, handed me the defective bits and sent me off to a local bearing company for replacements, which cost only a few pounds.
He put it back together, I refitted it and it’s been fine for the last five years.

Hi magical, did you repair or replace your pump, we have a weeping pump gasket and am trying to find out the labour hours for remove and refitted the pump, can you help with this?
I am a mechanic so tearing down engines no problem

I purchased a new one for parts4engines as it was only £100 or so, however, I do intend to rebuild the old one as a spare (more for a winter project!). Dropping it off, as part of a wider service where the coolant is changed, is no more than an hours work.

Sprayed it green, just need to fit mine now!
