Cutting Corian...

Corian can be cut using a carbide tipped saw blade (circular saw) or using a CT tipped router. Either way..be sure that the tool is sharp. Stick masking tape to the surface to avoid scratching . beware of the dust..If tools are sharp this will not be too much of a prob. but blunt tools will produce fine horrible dust.

You can also use TCT jigsaw blades, about £5 each. Use upside down to avoid chipping top side.

Or get reverse toothed blades which cut downwards. If you cut from the top then rest the saw or router on a thin piece of ply to protect the surface

Ive never seen TCT downcutters, its hard enough to find standard blades

Never done it but Trend sell router cutters specifically for cutting corian

I cant find anything on the Web, but I am sure that I read somewhere that you do have to wear a fine mask when cutting Corian!!!
There also seems to be lots of practical web sites on Corian Cutting.
