Cutlas bearing whine...

My cutlas bearing is whining at certain revs...

1000 to 1500...

Any suggestions as to what the remedy might be would be much appreciated...

Check the shaft alignment at the engine and the stuffing box. Best A.

Thanks for that, I have had a singing prop on another boat... A friend dressed the outer end of the blades and hey presto all was joyful, thanks again for reminding me of the singing prop... I had forgotten I must admit...
