Hi guys,

I am looking for a firm to make a custom tank for my taylors cooker and heater. It needs to be stainless, able to be pressurised using the brass pump from the old taylors tank and ideally have 2 exit points to have an outlet for both the cooker and the heater. Size wise about 12cm X 30cm x 45 cm. Anyone had good experiances with firms making tanks or anyone got an old taylors tank to sell that would stop all this DIY madness!

try

for a 'genuine' tank, possibly second hand...

otherwise, any reputable fabricator should be able to knock one up. you might have to mess around getting a threaded collar for the pump fitting (and get hold of a pump!) made by an engineer tho, plus a take of to suit... at the end of all that might have been much less faf and not much more cash to buy even a new 'genuine' one. Also the proper job will come with a pressure and fill guage, which are very handy, and would add more expense to your custom one.

would be interested in knowing how you get on tho, good luck!
