Custom Tables

Sorry it's a bit of a dull question but I'm looking for somewhere that sells or can make custom tables - it's for a RIB so don't want teak, probably carbon fibre or that sort of style. Any recommendations anyone?

Yep get sticky Paul to mould it. Making the mould is simple for this one so you can have exact size and shape you want. It can be lightweight by using an Airex or Dyvinycel (sp?) core. Then take it to the excellent grapefruit graphics and have it wrapped in carbon look foil

John - yes I sold Quantum last season with somewhat heavy heart - with junior playing football, rugby or cricket just about every weekend of the year the lack of use was getting me down. She is now in your neck of the woods in SoF. The plan is to re-appear again in the Med in a couple of years. Meanwhile I bought a very nice second hand Hydromax 8.5m RIB to keep me amused:

You probably don't need a mould, just cut the shape you want from some 1" foam, bevel the edges with a router, and have someone wrap it in GRP. It may even be possible to cover it in real carbon fibre, though I'm not sure about that.

Having a wrapped boat as I do ... it is pretty fragile stuff ( regardless of what they say!).

A table in wrap would in my view be not such a great idea!
