Curious.....Has anybody else spotted..

The catamaran sporting a New Zealand ensign.It was heading upstream as we came down river and the crew gave a cheery wave as we passed.Think it may have been in the Maidenhead area.
Appeared to be a proper offshore cruiser,possibly constructed in Alumium,the lines reminded me of a "mini" Windhorse.
Just wondering if anybody else had spotted it and knew anything about it. ? OG.

I saw them at abingdon lock last week

I didn't get the chance to talk to them, but listening to them in the lock they had accents to go with the ensign

It looked like one of these rentals....but wasn't

Was just wondering if it got here under its on steam or on the back of a container ship ?
It did look like it had seen some "action" at some point and not just the bashing some lockies enjoy giving certain boats

It passed here at Ashmount a few days ago on its way downstream. At first I thought "yet another illegally flying a Blue Ensign" then I assumed they were Ozzies when I glimpsed the stars.

Could possibly be a Aussie boat.......That sort of Blue water cat is very popular both in NZ and Australia.
i may have got the ensign wrong.

No, they are New Zealanders... Saw them yesterday at Remenham.

To answer a few questions:
They are from New Zealand
It came over on the deck of a container ship
Currently in PH awaiting lift out next week

Not sure how long or where they've been but as OG says it seen some " action"
