We have started up the generator a couple of times and no issues.

Noticed the small LCD screen flashes a small icon that looks like an hourglass. Manual talks about intermittent flashing error codes but to me I was wondering if it merely means that it is registering time.

Anyone have any other thoughts...

My Honda outboard's hourglass would flash constantly to show it's measuring time

The hour glass is normal - is there all the time when genset running
