the flood marker just above Culham lock. Its about 4" below the 1947 level.

So much for exaggeration then! maybe they moved the stone when they rebuilt the lock layby, I think the guys further down are in for surprise.
 
At last! Objective reporting!

I would wander over to Marsh lock, but i have a feeling the EA have closed the footbridge.

Here in Henley, levels are up about an inch since yesterday - the path by the Angel on the Bridge is JUST awash.

We shall see......

This unfortunately IMHO is always likely to happen, although dreadful for those that have suffered with these floods. I still cannot believe that its a global warming effect! They are brain washing all of us in order to obtain more money from everyone! IMHO of course!

Sure I saw The Angel on the box earlier this week, with drinkers sitting on the tables as the river deck was awash. Amusing picture.
