Hi All,
Given the Aquador is as sticky as a post it note and that there is sod all chance of us buying a bigger boat this year I am suffering from withdrawal.
Our plan is to boat on a budget which means minimum bills for 2007. So we need to start towing again. Now we spent 6 years towing boats so have a good idea what we want, however it has to be as liquid a boat asset as possible. This is because the £10k or so we are using is part of the deposit for the next boat so we will need it back ASAP when we are ready to purchase again. Last time we had a cuddy was in 2000, which is handy as that is the vintage we are now looking at (1998-2000). Our requirements are still the same so it has to have a decent cockpit space for entertaining (thames), a tall canopy so we can stand under it, a usable cuddy just in case with Porta Potti and with Trailer be under 1800kg. The drive is over 30 ft long and the gates are 9ft 8" wide so no probs there for storage.
But we want it all, a boat which is a good seller at a great price which we can use all summer and flog in September for Min depreciation.
I have not been following the lower sized market of cuddys so have no idea which brand is favourite at the moment and even if that end of market has buyers!
Of course as soon as I buy a cuddy, the Aquador will sell and we will be waiting on flogging that!
Any help appreciated,
Cheers
