Crystal Prop

Has anyone used 'Crystal Prop' - two pack antifouling for props and the like, if so is it any good?

Seems like the idea is to present such a smooth surface that fouling can't stick to it, or is easily washed off.

Maybe could achieve the same results by polishing the prop to the nth degree, but probably more work than painting.

Seems to be under the radar a bit - only finding one test of it, on 'Yachting News'.

I like the idea of not needing a separate primer.

Is it made with the oil of real snakes?

I have a polished stainless-steel prop and it still gets fouling that I remove with an acid wash as the blades are polished not even antifouling paint sticks to the prop and soon comes off

The funny thing is if you look into it snake oil actually is a real product and modern science suggests it was/is genuinely effective.
