Crusing Chute / Asymetric

Hi,

I'm selling my 36' boat in September. I would like to enter the Round the Island in June.

Is there any kind soul that would be willing to rent/sell a cheap chute for the weekend.

Alternatively an underwater tow might be acceptable.

An electric motor would have been an asset last year - we might have got past Hurst.
Possibly the RTI is the worst date of the year to look for a loan of a light-wind sail, but good luck anyway.
