Starting to think about this summer cruise.
I've always wanted to vist the Cruquius steam museum near Haarlem, but yet to find a sensible place to moor.
The stage outside I assume is for the foot ferry, the small stagings nearby all look private. There is a wharf at Hoofddorp but that looks like it's for commercial barges.
We tried up as far as the bridge but not beyond.
Has anyone managed to get ashore there, and is it worth it?

When I saw the title I thought to myself, “that’s the place we always fancied seeing but could never find anywhere to park”, from which you can see that I’m not going to be much help. I always enjoyed Gouda though, not far away, staying either in the town or at the YC.

Drove there years ago, yes interesting but not as good as

Delta Park Neeltje Jans, although I believe it has become more of a theme park these days
