Cruising Chute Stolen From Eastbourne Marina

Cruising chute & snuffer in storage bag stolen off the deck overnight at Eastbourne Marina last Mon 2nd July-Tues 3rd July.
Was lashed to the rails on the far side so not near the pontoon.
Coded gates and CCTV on the marina>
Aparrently its a real problem with Eastbourne, shame we weren't informed when we locked in!

Bit more info needed. Colour, manufacturer, distinguishing features etc.

I'm looking for one now and have seen a couple on ebay.

Sorry about your loss.

Eastbourne Marina looks like it has been hit with a Neutron Bomb. All the buildings intact but not a living soul to be seen within the marina! I was there weather bound for a week whilst on a delivery passage from Suffolk to Hampshire and saw very few people so I would think it is fairly easy to steal stuff that is left on deck.

Do they have CCTV?

I think security as a whole along the south coast is terrible!!!

its not the new incident happened with eastbourne as in previous times many cases have happened like this the problem is of security its irrelevant and is favorite place for robbers even in past i also lost my boat and never got it back. its very sorry to hear about your loss of boat
