Hi All, I have bought a cruising chute for a Beneteau 423. I need some advice. What is a good quality rope should I use for the sheets. I know I need 10mm sheets but what size tack line should I use and what size blocks. What supplier would you reccomend. I will be cruising with two of us , not racing.
Thanks in anticipation

12 m/m braid on braid for both as better to handle
the tack long enough to be lead back to the cockpit with a snap schackle.
60 m/m blocks
many here use jimmy green

12mm sheets can be a bit of a pest in light airs- weight wise. 10mm is certainly strong enough - if you are going to be sailing with 2 people on board, you will be considering dropping it in much over 10-12 Kts anyway..

Jimmy Green is often pretty good value....;)

strength isnt always the issue, its handling of the sheet that is foremost.
in light airs any string will do
