If you have a cruising blog, who hosts it for you eg blogspot, mailasail, yotblog, your own dedicated domain name etc etc.

Any comments on the problems or comments on "would be nice if..." would be appreciated.

Why I ask is because I've just discovered that I can host unlimited blogs on my cruising website using the full blown WordPress interface and it won't cost me or you a penny.

Blog currently hosted by Mailasail - only real issues for us are that there is no counter of visitors, nor a way of responding to a blog posting, i.e.leave a comment.

I originally chose wordpress.com because it had 'pages' as well as chronological posts. There are lots tools available - I originally posted from a PDA and mobile phone, which is why I post the pix separately on flickr. I still compose everything off-line and just upload it all - now from a 7" tablet.

I can't think of any extra features I want.

I also have self hosted wordpress site like Demonboy. He introduced me to wordpress and when I first started I had no idea at all what I was doing but it is easy to learn.
Our website made with wordpress is here.

Own domain for me plus word press - it really is very good and easy to learn to use.

I want something very simple and Mac friendly so use Saiblogs, relatively cheap.
But lack of video is a drawback. Altho you could link to Vimeo.
I'd do more research but it'll never get to the top of the joblist!!
