Crown Hotel Manningtree

Moor up at Mistley Quay (HT +- 2hrs unless you can dry out) and walk about half a mile to the Crown Hotel which overlooks the river in Manningtree just past the yacht club. Excellent VFM food, good beer and friendly service. Also does accomodation.

You can always try ringing the bloke in Mistley Marine for a spot if you can't dry out. You tie on to one of his pontoons and sink into soft ooze as the tide drops.
