I took my mainsail cover off last night so I can make a quick getaway today when the water comes back. I won't do that again - these crows decided it would be a good place to bring the family for a nice breakfast of the detritus from last night's chippy suppers. If it wasn't for the 50 yards of real squidgy stuff between here and the boat I'd have told them where to go.

Thank goodness it's not yet the blackberry season!!

Little consolation, but I think that you'll find that the blackberry villains are starlings. Crows are a bit heavyweight for swinging from brambles and are more interested in a diet of dead animals than fruit

You're probably right. When I put the sail up a whole load of chips fell out of the folds. Now I've spoilt their tomorrow's breakfast - ha ha !
The crows have bashed down the tripwire I put on my windex to stop the starlings standing on it -

Now they're back -

I'm only showing off that I made an adapter to fix my camera to my upstairs telescope. It's fun! Must now get a stiffer tripod - and some stiffer wire for the tripwire.
