Crouch yacht club models

Hello,

My 26 Holman Canewdon Witch was built for a Dr C Elkins lately the commodore (?) of the Crouch yacht club. Apparently there was a 1/2 model of CW in or near the bar. I understand that the club has been wound up. Was their a sale of the effects or were they slid into the river under the cover of darkness?

I believe the trophies etc have been transferred into the custody of the Royal Burnham, it may be that they also have taken care of other "treasures" such as the model. Worth checking anyway
