Crouch Posse Rendevouz - 12th May

Saturday 12th May.

Meet at the Ferryman at 7pm.

If the weather is great, perhaps we can decide to have a bbq on the riverbank instead. We can decide nearer the time.

Everyone to sort themselves out re berths on the pontoon or mooring.

Everyone welcome, not only Crouchites.

Will Sixpence put in the calendar please - I've never been able to figure out how to do that.... :o

If anyone wants to arrange something sooner, please do, but this is the earliest date I could make. :)

If you will be there, please put your name down:

You only have to say the word Master.... check original post! :D

blimey, that's weird - could've sworn it said the 19th earlier :D

Now I've got to decide whether to go sailing and "arrive" at Fambridge or whether to just stay put and get a spot on the pontoon good and early! :D

Hi, we cannot make the 12th as working, but can make the weekend either side. Hopefully will be able to see everyone on another occasion

David and Tracey

dunno - I'm well confused!

I CAN make 12th evening but didn't think Bruce could now. I think I can also do 19th. who else is around?

Me and Rik will be at Fambridge this weekend although if all goes to plan Brigantia will be out of the water round at the Marina. Jane was coming but she's had to cancel because of an ear infection.

Def can't make the 19th though as I'm working next weekend to make up for having a long weekend this weekend

Clear as Essex mud innit! :D

good for me. 7pm at the pub.

I've got friends coming out for a day sail on saturday, but will be alone sat evening and probably sunday so I will drive round from Bridgemarsh. I still don't have the confidence or the wit to single-hand. I think i'd be ok getting away and coming alongside the pontoon at the yacht station - as long as there are no other boats there (!) but I can't see myself getting back into my squeezed spot at bridgemarsh on my own.

I can confirm, Ferryboat conservatory renovated, painted and new furniture. Bar is still the same and was full of Essex boys supping with a vengeance tonight:eek:

We was there to. The Essex boys were the only ones left in the place when we bailed about ten-ish. They were getting louder too. New landlords' cronies fromhis previous pub maybe?

Essex boys...

Could be, although I believe it is Yacht Havens Ltd that are the new Owners.... The poor Lass behind the bar was getting more and more hacked off with them, still I suppose it be a free country???

They've also had a gardener in for the past month, tidying up the gardens, and the accommodation round the back is perfectly adequate. We've used it several times over the winter when sorting out the boat.
