Temporary Monitoring Buoys

In advance of the Wallasea Island Breaching scheduled for early July, please be advised of the deployment of 4 temporary monitoring buoys in rivers Crouch and Roach.


Buoys Characteristics and positions as follows:-

1) Small special mark yellow spherical buoy, Qk Fl Yellow in position 51°37.259N 000° 54.705E

2) Small special mark yellow spherical buoy, Qk Fl Yellow in position 51° 37.905N 000° 46.687E

3) Small special mark yellow spherical buoy, Qk Fl Yellow in position 51°36.755N 000° 52.024E

4) Small special mark yellow spherical buoy, Qk Fl Yellow in position 51°35.788N 000° 50.506E


Weather permitting, work is due to commence Wednesday 3rd June 2015 and expected to take 2/3 days.
Buoys will be deployed by Tug 'ARTHUR T' which will maintain a continuous listening watch on VHF Channel 11.

It is expected that the buoys will remain on station until late Autumn.
