Just a word of caution
Set of from viareggio 15.00 to north Corsica ... accedentity entered the 2 mile guard zone of LNG toscana and was chased off by the guard vessel - very politely , oh hum .
Heading on 225 14 miles due north of canal de corse encountered multiple vessel jockeying for position to enter the separation zone on the east side of corsica at o4.30 to 05.30 ... lots of fast ferries with vecy difficult to see navigation lights concealed by deck and operation lights
Extremely difficult passage with at least 2 close encounters .... I was lucky I had a very experienced ex sealink navigator who did not have to change his pants.....
